The gap
This study, while aimed at providing meaningful insights into the effect of incentives on job performance within the selected organisation, is subject to several inherent limitations that should be acknowledged. The research is restricted to a single organisation. Therefore, the findings, conclusions, and recommendations may not be generalisable to other companies, even within the same industry or sector. Organisational culture, leadership style, incentive design philosophy,...

Organisational culture, leadership style, incentive design philosophy, workforce composition, size, and operational processes vary significantly across firms, limiting external validity. PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION Employee performance often does not meet organisational expectations despite having skilled and capable employees. Ineffective design or implementation of incentive systems reduces their ability to motivate employees. Incentives that are unclear, unfair, or not aligned with employee needs can lead to dissatisfaction and disengagement. @International Journal Of Progressive Research In Engineering Management And Science Page | 1280 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PROGRESSIVE RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT AND SCIENCE (IJPREMS) (Int Peer Reviewed Journal) Vol. 06, Issue 03, March 2026, pp : 1280-1284 e-ISSN : 2583-1062
