The mixed methods case study design limits the generalizability of findings to other contexts. Additionally, participants may have been reluctant to disclose sensitive information due to stigma or social desirability bias. Despite these limitations, the study provides in-depth insights into the mental health experiences of refugee students in higher education. RESULTS This chapter presents a comprehensive analysis of findings on the wellbeing and mental health challenges of refugee students at Makerere University. The findings are presented according to the study objectives and integrate quantitative and a deeper qualitative lived understanding evidence of to provide students’ refugee results factors, focus on characteristics, mental contributing socio- experiences.
