    Based on the findings of this study, several recommendations are proposed to enhance mental health support and understanding during times of crisis, particularly through spiritual and religious coping mechanisms. Coping with mental health chal- lenges is a complex and ongoing process. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly increased global levels of depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, denial, fear, and anger (Torales et al., 2020). While some of these challenges have persisted, others have evolved as restrictions have eased.
