As in any study, ours is not without limitations. Although our findings indicate several common aspects in the experiences of young adult Syrian refugees in AE centres in Que- bec, they do not distinguish the experiences of students with disruptive education from those whose education was uninterrupted, nor does it compare the trajectories of male and female youth. Such examinations have the potential to further identify the supports young adult refugee students need to achieve their educational goals and thrive.
