  However, how culture influences the perception of touristic experiences at heritage sites remains unclear. However, whether the sense of belonging developed through gastronomy-oriented cultural heritage experiences alone can influence tourists’ identity construction remains unclear (Jepson & Sharpley, 2014). To date, no studies have been identified in the literature that address gastronomy experiences within the context of cultural heritage. Moreover, there is limited information on how emotional, cognitive, and cultural experiences of cultural tourists develop at heritage sites. Therefore, there is no consensus in the literature regarding the dimensions of the tourism experience.
