Efficient irrigation management in agricultural yields
Research gap analysis derived from 8 agriculture papers in our local library.
The gap
There is a need for efficient irrigation management in agricultural yields. Existing irrigation systems may not account for multiple parameters such as soil moisture, air temperature, and humidity.
Evidence profile
Sourced from the abstract and inline gaps and stated research gap and future-work section of the source papers, classified as general, drawn from work published between 1983 and 2026, spanning 7 journals. Those papers have been cited 9 times in total.

Future studies should consider conducting comparative analyses using alternative sets of criteria and different uncertainty modeling methods to contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient agricultural irrigation policies. It should also be noted that this study is limited to the selection and ranking of five alternative irrigation systems under six independent, non-interacting criteria to demonstrate the applicability of the employed methods.
