Training and credentialing also require attention. Plastic surgeons and aesthetic injectors should be trained not only in filler placement but also in complication recognition, vascular anatomy, ultrasound use, hyaluronidase preparation, emergency dosing, and medicolegal documentation. Multicenter registries of filler complications may help define best practices and reduce variability in care [4-6]. Finally, ocular complications require stronger evidence. The role of hyaluronidase in filler-induced visual loss remains uncertain, and future studies should clarify whether any route, timing, or protocol can meaningfully improve visual outcomes. Until then, prevention, early recognition, and immediate ophthalmologic referral remain essential.
