Another way to converge is by looking for civilizations aligned with the solar gravitational lens (SGL, see figure 9), which is a zone at about 547 AUs where EM radiation converges due to the Sun’s mass (Von Eshleman 1979; Drake 1988; Maccone 2009, 2013a; Tusay et al. 2022; Turyshev 2024). Telescopes placed at this region would gain orders of magnitude in sensitivity, and could even image exoplanets (Turyshev and Toth 2020).
