  • However, this study also has several limitations. First, these findings are based on the Korean employees and may not apply to other populations. Second, participants’ low response rates and excluding people with hearing or vision problems and who could not speak Korean may not be generalizable to other populations even though the survey was conducted by an experienced interviewer. Third, although almost all of the survey respondents agreed with estimating and utilizing valuations of health assets, we cannot identify any gaps between attitudes and behaviors. Fourth, participants’ knowledge of HAV may vary, thereby limiting the interpretability of the survey. Further studies are needed to examine the associations between knowledge of and attitudes toward HAV. Fifth, our study asked subjects questions about HAV but they didn’t give much thought to the question and didn’t clearly understand what was being said. Finally, our study did not show the difference between health asset valuation and health valuation. The difference should be identified by future research.
