What the literature leaves open
It is recommended that the institution should comprehend how anticipated developments in HPC technology could affect workers in various departments. The organisation should develop a change management and communication strategy that capitalises on the employees' present perspective of the future after the future state has been established. The study's findings highlight the significance of paying attention to workers' cognitive requirements in the HPC industry. This is recommended because it will lead to more HPC technology being used inside the organisation, not just in one department.
