  • The present findings establish a foundation for the mechanis- tic and translational exploration of hydroalcoholic extracts of W. somnifera, T. crispa, C. zeylanicum, and P. longum. 1 3Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovation (2026) 21:537 Future research should prioritize bioassay-guided fraction- ation to isolate and structurally characterize the specific phenolic, alkaloid, and terpenoid constituents responsible for the observed antioxidant activities. Advanced analytical techniques such as LC–MS/MS, HPLC fingerprinting, and NMR spectroscopy are recommended for compound-level validation and standardization. In vitro antioxidant assays should be complemented with cellular and in vivo models to elucidate mechanisms beyond direct radical scavenging, including the modula- tion of endogenous antioxidant enzymes (e.g., SOD, CAT, and GPx), redox-sensitive signalling pathways (e.g., Nrf2/ Keap1), and inflammatory mediators. Additionally, the syn- ergistic evaluation of combined extracts may provide sci- entific validation for traditional polyherbal formulations. Long-term studies focusing on pharmacokinetics, safety profiling, and clinical efficacy in oxidative stress–associated disorders will be essential for therapeutic translation and evidence-based standardization.   • Several limitations warrant acknowledgement. The cohort data presented are retrospective, observational, and derived from a single centre with a small heterogeneous sample, precluding causal inference. The absence of a control group limits attribution of improvements specifically to robotic therapy versus natural recovery or conventional co-interventions. Variability in documentation completeness reduced the number of patients available for each outcome analysis. The review component, while comprehensive in scope, did not employ formal systematic review methodology and may be subject to publication bias. Future research should prioritise prospective randomised controlled trials with standardised protocols, larger sample sizes, longer and patient-reported outcome follow-up periods, measures. 7. CONCLUSION Robotic neurorehabilitation represents a clinically and scientifically well-grounded approach to functional recovery in patients with non-stroke neural injuries. Evidence from the published literature, corroborated by from Oman, demonstrates real-world cohort data meaningful improvements in motor power, balance, and gait speed following robotic training. Our retrospective study establishes the proof of concept and its feasibility in Oman. Benefits are most pronounced in patients with incomplete injuries, in the subacute phase of recovery, and with sufficient treatment duration.   • Based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations are proposed: 1. Subsequent research is urged to use the aforementioned techniques (HPLC, GC-MS) in order to characterize and quantify the responsible bioactive compounds for the antibacterial activity of Physalis peruviana. Ayurvedic concepts such as Pitta, Ama, and Agni provide a functional understanding of inflammatory states, while modern immunology offers molecular specificity through cytokine signaling, oxidative stress pathways, and immune regulation. Bridging these paradigms enables a more comprehensive model of inflammation—one that connects metabolic dysfunction, immune activation, and tissue damage within a unified framework. Importantly, the growing body of evidence supporting the molecular actions of Ayurvedic interventions, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory effects, reinforces their potential role in integrative healthcare. Looking forward, future research should focus on rigorous clinical validation through well-designed randomized controlled trials, as well as the development of standardized formulations and dosing protocols. Advances in systems biology, metabolomics, and biomarker-driven research may further facilitate the translation of Ayurvedic concepts into measurable biological parameters. Moreover, the integration of artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches holds promise in correlating traditional phenotypic classifications with molecular and clinical profiles, paving the way for truly personalized medicine. In conclusion, an integrative approach to inflammation that combines the systemic insights of Ayurveda with the mechanistic precision of modern immunology has the potential to enhance both preventive and therapeutic strategies. Rather than functioning as parallel systems, these paradigms may be more effectively viewed as complementary frameworks contributing to a more holistic understanding of human health and disease.
