• The main thesis of the article is the existence of a gap in research into this part of Crown (Polish) and Lithuanian public law, the filling of which will allow for a better understanding of the system of land law courts on the territory of the Kingdom of Poland and the Crown part of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.

• The characteristic features of extreme pluralism - multi-polarity, polarization and centrifugalism13 - have doubtless coloured the Finnish party system to some extent. • Labour was short during the Hussite period; but how far the lords were already in the fifteenth century capitalising their estates and producing cereals, wool, beer, flour and fish for the market is a problem on which research still remains to be done.
